Superbowl XLVI is just around the corner – are you prepared?

The New England Patriots take on the New York Giants to determine the 46th Superbowl Champions in a rematch from 2008 – a game that saw Eli Manning’s Giants overcome Tom Brady’s Pats 17-14 to clinch their third Superbowl and end a perfect season for New England in devastating circumstances.

Manning and the Giants will be looking for a repeat performance but Brady and his New England team will be looking for revenge. They had gone 18 games unbeaten in the 2007/8 season and only the Superbowl stood in the way of a 19-0 perfect season. That was destroyed by a brilliant MVP performance from Manning.

This season the Pats went 15-3, while the Giants were less impressive with an 11-7 win-loss record. And on paper, taking into account the hundreds and hundreds of stats gathered during an NFL season, the Patriots should be clear and easy winners. The same was the case in 2008, though, and the Giants still won.
